effective depth-oriented psychotherapy
We all carry stories that shape how we think, feel, and connect. Deep change happens when we honor the full range of our lived experiences and make sense of the narratives shaping our lives.
We are shaped by the relationships, experiences, and stories that surround us. Some of these stories bring connection and belonging while others leave imprints of pain, shame, or self-doubt. Over time, we develop ways of being with ourselves and others that often reflect these early experiences. Some of these patterns serve us well. Others leave us feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Many of these ways of relating operate outside our awareness, quietly shaping our relationship to ourselves and others in ways we can't quite grasp. This is where therapy can help.
Psychodynamic therapy offers a pathway to work through persistent challenges with anxiety, depression, intimacy and closeness, unprocessed loss, patterns of self-sabotage, emotional expression, and beyond.
Many of the people I work with tend to come to therapy after they’ve exhausted a long list of tools and techniques to manage their symptoms, or their best attempts to change on their own aren’t working. While these tools can be helpful, they don’t always get to the heart of what’s really going on. My work focuses on meaningful, lasting change. Using a psychodynamic, depth-oriented approach, we look to understand the “why” behind your feelings and behaviors. Together, we’ll explore how your foundational experiences have shaped your relationships and begin the work of creating new pathways for connection and growth.
The goal is to help you notice the patterns that may be holding you back, understand how they affect your relationships and choices, and free you to inhabit your life in a way that feels truer to who you are and the life you want. By connecting more deeply with your story, your emotions, and the people around you, you can begin to live with a greater sense of freedom, authenticity, and meaning.

Healing unfolds in its own time. Our work together will honor this natural rhythm, building trust and welcoming all parts of your experience. I approach each person with highly personalized support—working under the fundamental belief that everyone is unique, and that healing occurs within the context of a safe, genuine, and empathic therapeutic relationship.
We'll meet regularly to create a space where both the spoken and unspoken aspects of your experience can be understood with curiosity and care. Our work is collaborative, working together to get to know and understand you, and helping you create connections and discover new possibilities. This is slow, intentional work. It is not about rushing or powering through, but about making room—for reflection, for growth, for a deeper sense of self-compassion that honors the complexity of who you are.
