I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in depth-oriented and attachment-based therapy. I come to therapy originally having a career as a designer—I spent 15+ years working with people and organizations to uncover their unique point of view and expression. This leads me to be a firm believer that therapy is its own creative process. It's an invitation to slow down, listen deeply to what has shaped you, and to make space for what wants to emerge.
I approach this work with warmth, curiosity, and a deep belief in the power of understanding ourselves at the root. My practice is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, an evidence-based approach that helps us explore the emotional and relational patterns that shape and guide our lives. Together, we’ll trace these patterns with care, honoring where they come from while creating space for new possibilities.
I typically work with people who are interested in longer term (≥ 6 months), in-depth therapy who want to meaningfully understand their inner emotional life. This takes time because healing is a process, one that requires patience, exploration, and the courage to sit with what is emerging. Many of the people I work with are looking to understand why they feel “stuck” in some aspect of their life or unable to figure out why they are struggling with certain feelings or reoccurring relational patterns.
I particularly enjoy working with those who have difficulties with self-expression, as well as those navigating the intersection of mental health and spirituality—whether integrating their faith into the healing process or untangling pain or abuse connected to their spiritual or faith background. I also work with those facing anxiety, depression, shame, identity issues, grief, trauma, or relationship challenges.
I believe that we are all capable of meaningful change. I know firsthand that therapy can be life-changing. My own experience in therapy has shaped not only the way I practice, but the way I have come to understand the healing process. I deeply respect the courage it takes to share your struggles with another person, and I value building a strong, collaborative relationship at your pace. If you’re ready to step into that process, I’d be honored to get to know you.
